Coverage is pretty good. All lifts are currently closed though. You have to hoof it and hike is you want your ski fix in this early. They just don't have the labor to light up the lifts, however I didn't hear anyone complaining this weekend

That's why you buy a beater board (or skis) for like the first 1-2 months. If you can afford a board or skis expensive enough that you worry about scratching the bottom, then you can most definitely afford a sub par pair of skis. I always use a beater board until there is decent snow coverage, them I bust out my NS board. Not sure about skis, but 2-3 year old Burton boards and bindings go from about 100-150 on Craigslist. Super jealous I'm not at the Creek...
