This is not Summit County. There is no big resort waiting for you at the base of the hill. In all of the ski resorts in Colorado Wolf Creek continues to hold onto the rustic beauty of what skiing use to be all about, short lines, great runs, and lunch out of the back of your car with a few new friends. You can almost always count on there being snow at Wolf Creek as they receive the most. If you want a challenge then head to the waterfall area (not for beginners) and plow through some great trails. Otherwise to access to some of the bowels and trees you have to work for it and hike. They do have a Cat so I would check with the mountain about pick up times.
