Wolf Creek reminded me of Mt Baker in Washington. If you are looking for a skiers Mt with tons of Snow and terain
suited for everyone, you have found it. Steeps and tree skiing not for everyone however. Management was kind
enough to mark a cliff in the middle of one of one of the better tree runs. I'm a tele skier who had to rent skis when
my bindnings failed. Took all of fifteen minutes and had quality equipment. Friendly knowledgeable staff. One of the locals pointed me in the right direction to the lesser skied parts of the mountain where you could still find a few powder shots.
Never had to wait in line, not once and this was on local day when my Senior ticket cost $18. Slow lifts meant a longer rest between runs.
Overall a great Mt to ski with a friendly stall.
Stayed in Pagosa Springs, 23 mile drive. Hot springs were sooothing and foord was good. If your'e looking for an all inclusive resort this is not it. If your looking to ski then go.
