I've been to Wolf Creek in late March several times, and the snow is always good. THe back side is wicked good tree skiing. If you worry about getting a table for lunch, change your timing - ski while everyone else is eating, then eat while the rest ski. Or, better yet, put a power bar in your pocket and eat it on the lift, so you don't have to miss a minute of good powder. It's all about the skiing, dude. You can eat lunch back home where there isn't any snow. Considering the quality of the snow and the price of a lift ticket, it's a terrific value. ANd the green chile is awesome if you do take a lunch break.
