To the previous unknown poster, I think you are the hippie, stoner who must have been to a different Wolf Creek than the rest of us. Although the lodging is a little further away than I'd like, I think it helps keep the commerciality away from Wolf Creek. I was there with my two girls- 6 & 8 this past spring break. We had powder 4 of the 5 days we skied. It was awesome. I've skied alot of the places in the lower 48 and in Europe. WC had the best snow I had ever seen. Family friendly, short lines, the crew was always real nice, and lots of other nice folks on the mountain. After you get off the mountain with the quads burning, sitting in a hot tub at the Springs Resort next to the San Juan river with the sun going down over the Rockies is about as good as it gets.
