Went there over spring break this year, the weather could not have been better. Skiing while it was in the 50s and 60s outside. The only problem was that the snow was a little icy in the morning, but what more can you expect in mid-march. By the afternoon, it was powdery enough that it wasnt a problem. There were more crowds than I thought, but it was still empty in parts, and we never really had to wait more than 5 minutes for a lift. Parking was never a problem, we were always close to the entrance, but it helps to get there when I opens to be able to do that. It would have been nice for fresher snow, but I wasnt expecting that when I booked this vacation. As far as lodging, Pagosa was nice and small. The hot springs were also nice, but could be a little pricey for what they were. Definitely would go back, and recommend it for anyone.
