I've had the pleasure of skiing every major ski resort in Colorado except Beaver Creek & Telluride & without hesitation I declare that WP but especially, the 'Jane is my favorite, bar none!
There is a reason why the 'Jane is ranked numero uno every year for bumps/mogul schussing. It is in a mogul class by itself. & to those who would lobby for grooming some of the bumps, fuhgetabouit ! Further, with the rampant beetle kill of the past few years the resort has done a splendid job clearing out buku dead timber & opening acres of skiable tree terrain. The tree terrain over at the 'Jane is awesome.
I've told untoward legions of out-of-state flatlanders that Winter Park/Mary Jane is the best ski hill in the state. Beats: Aspen, Crested Butte, Steamboat, Vail. Vail may be bigger but not better in this skier's opinion.
Mary Jane enjoy your off season & see you for a rendezous next November !
