Been going to Winter Park for a number of years. Always enjoy the groomers. Lots of options for different skill levels. The resort has made a number of improvements with lift/mountain access over the last decade. Lots of options for food on the mountain. Highly recommend for beginner/intermediate and families. Good Apres’ scene on the resort. Lots of shops too. The town of Winter Park has a number of good options for dinner. The worst part is getting to it, up through Bethold Pass.
Lots of options for beginner, intermediate and expert
Can get icy depending on snow volume, time of day

Skied 3-27 thru 3-29 and was cold 3-27 with 6 degree posted at lunch Rock also windy and Pano was closed. it didn't matter though as Sunnyside Express was open. Nice powder stashes in Wildwood Glade and protected from wind. 3-28 was about 10-15 degrees warmer and Pano was open so hit Calypso, Kinnikinnic, Paintbbrush, etc. 3-29 in high 20's and some nice glades off of Tweedle Dee and Tweede Dum then some nice moguls on Mary Jane, Long Haul, Railbender and Sleeper. Ended up on Larkspur, and Fireberry Glade then Columbine and Roundhouse. No lift lines, just skied up and got on the high speed six pack of Pano or Sunnyside Express. Ended up at Doc's Roadhouse for some $3 pints during happy hour. Had parked in G lot and took shuttle from base to vehicle. No problem with gear, just boot up at vehicle and once off Cabriolet can put skis and poles on/in one of those red wagons if can't walk the 300 yds. to Gondola or just wait for shuttle and get dropped off 50yds from Gondola.
Great snow, short lift lines

Chronic problem with line cutting, abusive language, and general disrespect for other. You'd think the inflated price keep these folks out, but the BMW, Audi hipsters on high doses of caffeine don't care about you or your kids. They have powder priorities that Trump kindness.
East facing slopes
Rude, aggressive, unfriendly patrons, chronic line cutting

They are one of the best places to learn new things and if you like skiing harder stuff more often then you can do that too
Many family friendly areas and the all mountain terrain is very exciting
Not a big terrain park

Wide range of terrain invites family activities. Although it’s a great place to learn the little ones, there are more than enough challenges for the individual snow enthusiasts.
It snows there.
Other people know that it snows there.

Went there for my first time snowboarding ever and had a blast. Highly recommend as the mountain has many open shreddable runs. The lift pass is a bit pricey, but besides that love Winter Park.

Our family loves this resort. It offers a little something for all levels. Being one of the closer skiing destinations to Denver, the drive in day skiers tend to make this place busy, especially on weekends and holidays. If you can opt for the weekday season pass, much of this congestion can be avoided. Overall, great value and variety for a family vacation on the slopes. Recommend!
A little bit for everyone
Some lifts can become congested at peak times
