Great Terrain Park, Good Downhill as well.
Bad Nightlife, Small Town.
Winter Park is a great ski resort for all types of skiers and boarders. The main mountain, Winter Park, is great for boarders due to mostly beginner and intermediate downhill terrain and great parks for all levels. Vazquez Ridge offers a wonderful extension of the terrain at the main mountain, mostly greens and blues. Vasquez Cirque offers more experienced riders great steeps and lots of fresh tracks when everywhere else is tracked out (West Headwall is quite a challenge). Mary Jane is a great place for skiers, but definitely not a boarders paradise. Good steeps and lots of bumps make it challenging for even the most advanced of skiers. But, if you can make it down Mary Jane, a great reward awaits you in Parsenn Bowl. Take the Panoramic Express to the top of the entire mountain. From there, you have the choice of riding great trees and steeps, or meander down Village Way to the base of Winter Park.
All in all, Winter Park Resort is a great ski resort due to its variety of runs. My favorite in Colorado by far.
