Full review

We've never been to Winter Park and from different reviews we had high expectations about it. My fiance and I arrived on 12/26/07 and stayed there for 3days. If you're a skier this will be great place, but if you're a snowboarder, it will just plainly suck. Never take a green as you'll always end up walking not just once or twice, but several times before you get somewhere. This was, in fact, the single most heard complaint from both skiers and snowboarders, how flat some of the terrain really was. For such a hipe-up place, pricey lift-tickets ($75-86/day), and food, we were surprised that it did not even have a single gondala. My fiance and I typically snowboard in Utah and this was a lesson well-learned to continue making it our number one destination when it comes to top-class resorts for the price, crowds, and services. Yes, we've been to Breck, Copper Mountain, and other resorts, but it is what it is. Sorry Winter Park, but, never again. JB
