Pros: good for families, park rats, great for moguls
Cons: pretty weak mountain if you like steeper non-moguls, you will not find a colder mountain

Snow reports are skeptical at best, although I do admit it depends what part of the mountain your on. Can get really crowded. Sometimes WP does get more out of storms from north than other "I-70" resorts, yes even vail on specific storms. The problem is that if you want any consistent steep terrain on a pow day, it better be a BIG 30" day or more, or you be hitting moguls bigger than your Subaru ALL DAY.
Mountain is arguably closer and more convenient for metro Denver skiers than other large resorts, especially when Loveland pass is closed. So that contributes to large crowds on weekends, but usually you can lose them on Mary Jane.
This is NOT your spring break resort, although it would be fun, and the snow is always good that time of year.
They are good about opening up runs early season as conditions allow, but you will hit rocks and stumps off of groomers until the magic 65" base is there.
This mountain can get really COLD! It's located near the "ice box" of colorado (Fraser).
I have logged in well over 100 days at this mountain, and over 120 days a year all over since the mid '90s.
