of course Vail has powder days but I don't think it could be described as the place to go for "world class snow". That would be more like Alta/Snowbird.

saturday had some great pow pockets left & felt like spring by noon. an amazing day, a deep pow spring day- sweet!

saturdays conditions were very good but the warm weather should ice it up fpr sunday. rhe tree skiing was geeat all day it may still be powder in the am lines were pretty bad. i tried blue sky around 1130 and gave up i heard it did clear up later in the day

no thats not a joke, he is right! i was in waist deep snow just a few days ago at about 11am in champagne glade after a hike. no smow back there, huh.

Vail is world class. Dry powder snow. Not the heavy west snow like Baker. It will take you all week to ski the entire mountain.
