Magical experience after fresh pow
Back Bowls are Zen. Great place to get some breathing room from any stressors (e.g. corporate, fam, in-laws)
Beautiful mountain. More pow, pls.

Expensive but incredible amount of terrain and the village is excellent for off mountain activities.

This ski area is not so great for younger skiers with a lack of challenging jumps and rails in the park. Not many steep challenging runs. It caters more to old geezers that like to ski slow on groomers. Horrible parking with long walks alone a busy road to get to the lifts as the parking structure is overpriced and often full. It frequently has horrendous lift lines especially on powder days. Don't bother eating on the mountain the food is low quality and overpriced.
Large ski area with many lifts. Many expensive restaurants.
Wimpy park, lack of expert terrain, overpriced lift tickets, ski patrol wants everyone to ski slow like old geezers.
Endless acres to ski, just comes at a price

Great restaurants and nightlife to go along with a huge mountain that would take weeks to explore.
Huge terrain and great conditions.
A few flat spots on top requiring polling.

Just want to say that I needed to get in touch with a human about an issue with a ticket. Emily answered my email in no time and solved the issue, exceeding my expectations. Looking forward to my next visit and hope the on-mountain folks are as friendly and helpful as online Emily!
Great Customer Service!
First skied Vail in 1982, having first skied in US in 1975 and started in Switzerland at age 6 in 1962. Have Returnedcto Vail, every year, & fir many years 2-3 x a year eve sine. At peak, while living in Denver 1986-92 we used to drive by the other resorts to still be in the first lift by 0830. Met my spouse in the slopes of Vail 11@11. No doubt that adds to the love of Vail. We Started our two girls skiing at Vail-BC Ski School each pre age five, before anyone tempted them with snowbirds. They are exploring the world on ski breaks, season by in the early 2000s, a great investment in their future confidence and athleticism. They confidently pick up the yard sales when the young boys explode with bravado. I expect to return yearly till I can no longer safely ski or bike etc. .How4ver, truth is, if we coukd not ski bike etc we are unlikely to retire or invest in a seasonal abode for the Vail night or community day life. Would love to have retired in the Valley, but the atmosphere changed too much in the 20teens. Knowing your mountain inside and out - wherever your mountain is - is what brings out the very best of any resort making for the very best ski days with friends & family. We have skied with & taken friends and FA Liu to ski mountains all over tge Rockies and tge West, and I maintain, that with Vail, there is No Comparison
The variety en piste, from expert to intermediate tgat we can all ride same lift together with. Minimal lines at innumerable high speed 4-6 chair lifts is unparalleled.
The Village has devolved into post medieval No Fun. However, we have found great accommodations and atmosphere in Minturn & Edwards.
Fun, amazing terrain, and great grooming .

Vail is one of my favorite mountains due to the diverse terrain, excellent bowls and large amounts of hidden powder stashes. The powder on Blue Sky was amazing on Sunday.
The Space, lots of terrain!
Parking prices

If you are at least a intermediate skier, don’t waste your time on the frontside. There is plenty of amazing snow and lots ‘easier’ tree runs that make the trip back there worth every second. Blue Ski Basin all the way.
Unbelievable amount of skiable options
Mtn did not seem crowded but every restaurant always overcrowded. You pay to play
