too few ski patrol to enforce slow zones

Full review

There is no other place I would rather ski than Vail with its variety of runs and terrain. The area is huge, so it takes a while to get your money's worth to know where to ski to avoid the crowds. My biggest complaint is that because you have so many ways to get down the mountain, you will find yourself crossing from left to right or right to left to select a particular run that branches off the run you started on. This means that you constantly need to watch your back so that no one above you crashes in to you. This is OK and a skier's responsibility but in slow zones, I have encountered way too many out of control speeders who have no regard for the rest of us. I personally know of people who have been mowed over and injured. Where are the ski patrol? No where to be found. I would love to see these yahoos get their tickets yanked for the safety of all of us.
