Skied with a group of 95 folks (3/29-4/1). Couldn't have had better snow, 12 inches new over the course of our trip. Surprisingly, the snow from mid-mountain up stayed light. Slushy down mountain, but didn't freeze much at night so didn't run into the icy/chatter I've experienced at say, Keystone or Copper in the morning. Grooming helped soften the snow as well, and they do a great job of covering this mountain. Facilities are nice but not so "high-browed" to make you feel uncomfortable. Never a line on any lifts, anytime. Good variety, plenty for every level of skier. Good apres-ski as well. Only suggestions: need a high speed lift to replace lift 9 on the front side of the mountain. They could cut a couple of runs down from the top lifts so you don't have to ride them up to exit the upper portion of the mountain. Telluride is a great all round destination resort, friendly people, great scenery, it has it all.
