Telluride is, by far, the best in the county. I had my doubts, but this place is by far amazing. The park is so large, that I am always finding some new trail that I have never taken. I consider myself a good skier - not great, but still can hold my own and I am very challenged by most of the runs here. I would not not consider this a beginner place at all though, hence it being both a pro and a con. All the employees are the nicest in the country. I had a ski instructor carry my skies down the stairs just because, and I wasn't struggling or anything. Now for the town, it is very much a ski-town. There is not much to do, hence I wouldn't consider bringing young kids. Great place by far.
