Use either Telluride Regional Airport (TEX), five miles from Telluride, or Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ), 65 miles from the resort. Montrose has direct service from Newark, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. Telluride is serviced by United Express or America West Express via Denver International Airport (DIA). The air fields at Durango and Grand Junction are 2.5 to 3 hours away by ground.
Telluride is located in the Southwest corner of the state. Take Route 50 South at Grand Junction from I-70. Travelers on I-25 South should exit at Pueblo and drive west on Route 50 into Route 62 to Montrose. Then return to Route 50 and head South to Telluride.
