I hiked up last weekend, to the top of the mountain. While the very summit was wind-blown, and rocky, the rest of the upper-portion of the mountain was nice, and powdery. There were some small ravines that need to be watched for, as well as some dirt roads crossing the path. The rocks are there, but with caution, can be avoided easily. Towards the very bottom of the mountain the amount of ravines, and roads increased. It became a bit more technical, but again, still do-able. At the very bottom of the mountain, the snow is all machine-made and has turned to ice. This was where I fell, as it was basically a sheet of ice. Overall, the mountain still needs time before opening, but if you want to try it now, you can (down Little Max to Sun King). I even did it just after sunset with just my phone light, and the bright moon. I'd recommend checking it out if you are up for the hike. Also, Sunlight plans to open on December 6th, but will likely open early due to abundant snowfall that this current storm is producing.
