Full review

I am from the East and have traveled to Colorado each winter for the past several winters for a week of skiing in the Vail, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Snowmass area. Each year, a day or two at Sunlight has been a part of the itinerary. I have to say that, although Sunlight is not a mega-mountain like the others mentioned, the ski experience that I have there has always been the best. I have been to Sunlight on several powder days and have had the pleasure of skiing in the powder pretty much all day long. It was just great. Sunlight is a beautiful place too. It's a fairly big mountain but not a huge resort, and the lifts are not high-speed, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The runs are challenging and fun and the entire atmosphere of the place is very relaxed and laid-back. The people there are friendly and the cost of food and lift tickets is reasonable. All in all, Sunlight is a place that delivers just great skiing.
