I stayed 6 days at Steamboat and it was amazing. The lift lines I constantly heard everyone tell me about were non existant. Storm Peak was amazing. The visibility was less than 10 feet out in the open, but once i ducked into the trees, it was worth it. A recent storm had dumped a foot and a half over night, and it was still dumping. The tree pow was so deep, you could sink at anytime. It is the lightest snow anywhere in CO, and well worth it. I personally stayed by storm peak and pony express the whole stay due to the deep pow and no crowds. However, if you cannot confidently ride blacks, don't venture over to those areas. Overall will def return again, greatest snow on earth.
