Steamboat Springs far and away is a world class resort destination. This town offers a true American Western Experience while maintaining lots of smiles, great apres skiing atmosphere, Olympic trainning, diversionary opportunities like rock climbing, trout fishing, rafting, kayaking, wildlife photo safaris, and the absolute best powder skiing I have ever experienced anywhere. Tree skiing along Shadows in a blizzard is very exhilerating and challenging. I first came in 1995 and revisted again last year. The town has grown up for sure but has not lost its identity.
