Pros: Great trees, dry powder snow, huge mountain

I spent 2 days at Steamboat and had 14+ of new snow fall while I was there. The conditions were amazing and the mountain was a lot of fun. It is a huge place, and even on the busy holiday weekend many runs were empty. The views of the Yampa Valley are spectacular.
There are plenty of high speed lifts all around the mountain and it is generally pretty easy to get where you need to go. There are tree runs everywhere, off just about every trail.
I don't really care about nightlife, but Steamboat seems to have enough of it.
