Snowmass, the largest of the four Aspen/Snowmass mountains, is a great mountain for skiiers and boarders of every level. You can't miss the phenomenal blue cruisers at Elk Camp with their amazing views, and Longshot gives you the backcountry experience while still being in-bounds. The noon groom is a great bonus, as well. This resort really works hard to make its visitors happy and caters to families especially. The new Base Village brings even more excellent lodging and restaraunts to Snowmass, and it also contains the awesome Treehouse Adventure Center, the base for the Aspen/Snowmass Ski & Snowboard School. Additionally, new gondolas and lifts have been added in recent years. And don't forget that your lift ticket gives you access to the other three Aspen/Snowmass mountains! Although Aspen/Snowmass can be quite pricey and is a longer drive from Denver, these "drawbacks" will actually work to your advantage because you won't find the long lift lines you encounter at Vail and Breckenridge. All in all, you won't regret a trip to Snowmass! I'm definitely coming back!
