I loved the terrain offered at Snowmass. I was amazed to find, after half a week without snow that parts of Headwall and Willy's still had powder on them. The variety of terrain is outstanding and the lift lines were not bad for the most part. However, I visited during the middle of a week so I may have missed the possible crowds that develop on the weekend and holidays.
The accomodations, while expensive, were extensive and very nice. I was dissappointed in the terrain park while there. The table top jumps looked like they needed some attention and I was suprised no effort was made to build them back up for the week I was on the mountain. Luckily I didn't travel to Snowmass just to hang out in the terrain park.
I would recommend Snowmass to just about anyone but unfortunately the expense that comes with the flight, accomodations and lift ticket is somewhat excessive for most, but I think that is to be expected when traveling to the rockies.
