Snowmass is where I learned to ski (properly). Previous attempts (3) in Europe and Canada had left me scared rather than confident. On Snowmass there is enough of a range of wide cruising blue runs to allow you to progress with confidence from a beginner to a strong intermediate, even if you are cautious. Combine that with fabulous expert terrain, which my expert skiing friends adore - and you have the perfect place for groups of skiers and family with different abilities. Being a short (and free) shuttle ride from Aspen, there is wonderful nightlife (the best I've experienced at any ski destination in North America) on your doorstep whenever you have the energy!
