We were just passing through, just before noon and decided an afternoon of skiing at Cooper was an idea before continuing our journey. We had skied Monarch the day before and were interested in Cooper because of good reports from other families we had spoken to. Well we loved it. The runs are perfect for my beginning snowboarder and my little skier was having a blast. They could keep close to old Dad with little effort and the runs were just long enough to get a good bit of work in when the kids and mom went for hot chocolate at the lodge. I was impressed as a intermediate snowboarder with a desire to work on technique and new skills. The snow was fantastic and I found plenty of fresh powder in the trees and slope edges. Overall a great side trip and we'll be back. Joe Bachman Omaha Ne
