People - Silverton has no frills and it is AWESOME!!! Kind of scary when the wind is up but amazing skiing and WELL worth the trip. Going again in less than a month and can hardly wait!!!

Can't believe some of the comments on this mountain. Don't go here expecting lodges and hot cocoa and spa treatments! Jesus. Go to deer valley and spend all your money. This place sounds like a true skiers mountain. I'm glad it's still around and hope to make it there some day.

Big time mtn, snow conditions are variable at best until they get any measurable snow. Definitely worth it for the experience though. Be ready to hike at least 30min from the lift.

I know the one. You have to take an Ungroomed double diamond to get to it.
