Stoked for the warm chocolate cookies they hand out in the afternoon! In all seriousness, best terrain in Colorado with lift access. Not for beginners by any stretch!

This place makes Jackson look like a bunny hill. Best ski area in North America.

Just went here. So sweet. Don't waste your time at Jackson and whistler. More steeps and deep here at silverton. 100" base doesn't lie.

From 2/26. Best ski day of my life. Steep and deep. Great time. Heli drop was well worth it.

Silverton mountain lives up to the hype. Deep untouched power all over. Make sure you're prepared to hike at high altitude and spring for a heli drop. Best ski day of my life.

@anonymous user - you will be fine. The hype is bigger than the actual experience in terms of difficulty. A guided experience is great to learn the mountain so when you go unguided you will know the ins and outs
