    Taos rules

    Pros: Powder ,Steep

Cons: Unguided only gives you One face of mtn. WEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Taos has more open to unguided and great lines with Steep and deep. I won't waste my time driving to Silverton if they do not open more terrian to unguided riding. I... Full review

    Don't believe the naysayers

Pros: Backcountry skiing with a lift

Cons: you MUST be in GREAT shape to hack it

Skiing Silverton is like stepping into the backcountry, without the worries of impending avalanches, without having to purchase and read backcountry maps, and with the advantage of having an expert guide (like... Full review

    Pros: Awesome terrain, freshies everywhere

Cons: Cocky guides who think they're all that, when they're not

I skied Silverton last March (I agree with another reviewer that March-April are the best months to go), and had a great time. Being an expert skier, I've done my fair share... Full review

Silverton is the greatest concept ever

    Pros: Terrain

    Cons: None

It's understandable that not everyone would not get the concept of Silverton. As a Local I get a chance to ski unguided early and late season every year since its been open.... Full review
