This place is for people who want to ski on terrain that is meant to kick your ass, not pamper it. If you want to spend half your day in the bar, go somewhere else. But if the black diamonds at most resorts are just not doing it for you, put in a little effort to get to Silverton. Scary steep is probably one of the best ways to describe it. Truly an experience like no other. This is truly what skiing is all about.
