Pros: family friendly, good snow, small but good terrain park, friendly staff

Cons: its small, the chairlifts are a bit outdated

Powderhorn is a GREAT family ski area. Its home to so many wonderful people along the western slope and will always be looked upon as one of the best areas to grow up at. To all those people who are all about big fancy parks and chairs, think again!! That's what gives Powderhorn its character. Sure, it takes a while to get to the top, but its well worth it for the real snow... hardly any of our snow is mad made!!
