By Car:

From Denver: From the junction of E-470 and US Hwy. 285, travel South on Hwy.285 for 123.3 miles
to US Hwy. 50. Travel West on Hwy. 50 for 13.5 miles to a right into
Monarch Mountain.

From Colorado Springs: From the junction of I-25 and CO 115 (Nevada Ave.), travel South on CO-115 for 31.2 miles to US Hwy. 50. Travel West on Hwy. 50 for 86.1 miles to a right into Monarch Mountain.

Ground Transportation:

From Salida: The Salida Recreation Department offers a Ski Bus to Monarch Mountain on Saturdays between November 29th and March 4th for only $5 round trip. Bus leaves the Hot Springs Pool at 8:30 am sharp and then leaves Monarch at 3:30pm. Only children 10 years and older can ride without parental supervision. More information
