Let's be honest if you don't mind ice in the morning and watery mashed potatoes in the afternoon then the conditions at keystone are great for you. it is turning into Browntown out there so watch for rocks.

Had a great spring break week at Keystone! Crowds were light, snow was soft and spring-like thru midweek, but the 8" snowstorm made it grand with little powder stashes throughout. Fun!

Started about 10am and went all the way to the Outback lift, it was icy where the sun hadn't hit, but was warming up quickly. Got back to Decrum at about noon and it felt like a powder day for the rest of the afternoon. One of my favorite days of the year! No lines, lapped Summit Express and did 35,000 vft in under 5 hours. Don't let the lack of fresh snow stop you on these spring days.

Took the Cat up to the north bowl, beautiful. The glades were awesome groomed trails hard packed and slushy by the end of the day.
