Keystone is a well-kept secret. Widely seen as an intermediate mountain because of Dercum Mountain, its two other mountains have terrific and largely empty advanced runs.
Long top-to-bottom runs on all three mopuntains.
Not as steep as A-Basin next door.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my children and I had at Keystone on 12/29. As a longtime skier with 20 years of experience, I have never encountered such a disappointing situation. On 12/28, I called Vail Resorts and spoke with Layla to confirm the eligibility of our 3-day pass and my children's Jeffco school passes for skiing on 12/29. After a 30-minute hold, Layla assured me that we could use our passes on that day, and blackout dates did not apply. However, upon arriving at Keystone on 12/29, we discovered that my kids' passes were not eligible, despite Layla's confirmation. This information was not easily accessible on the Epic site. Consequently, I had to purchase two kids' tickets totaling $350. Additionally, seeking advice on beginner runs, an employee directed us to the top of the hill, where the only available green run was closed. We had to take the gondola back to the main hill area. The most concerning part of our experience was an incident on the "Schoolyard" green run. (12/29 between 10-11 AM) While skiing, a Keystone ski school instructor, approximately 50 years old, male, with grey hair, cut us off during a private lesson, causing my daughter to accidentally collide with another child. Although both kids were uninjured and had apologized, the instructor proceeded to scream at my 8-year-old daughter for nearly 3 minutes, making her cry. The father of the other child reassured him that everything was fine, but the aggressive behavior continued. Subsequently, a man in his 50s collided with my daughter, resulting in no apology. This entire experience, coupled with unhelpful and rude interactions with Keystone employees, has left a lasting negative impression. I am disheartened to learn that a refund is only possible at the ticket window. Regrettably, this experience has led us to the decision not to return to Keystone. I felt it was important to share our experience in the hope that necessary improvements can be made to ensure a safer and more enjoyable environment for all visitors.
Nice mountain
The verbally abusive staff, high prices, poor signage, crowds, price gauging.

went to try and get an early season weekday in, figured it would not be too busy, wrong right off the bat, had to park in the lot a few miles down the road and take a shuttle bus to the resort. The one run that was open was super crowded, and really icy. Saw several bare/thin spots on the run. The food and drink are all extremely expensive (even compared to other resorts in the area). Overall, I received a free pass to go to this mountain, and would not have paid a penny more.
Close to better mountains
Extremely crowded, Icy, thin cover, boring terrain
Always a good time here. Friendly staff, a lot of runs, efficient lifts
Great lift network. A lot of vertical for time spent on lifts

Spread out so far that even on the busiest day you can stay away from the crowd. Friendly. Best runs in Colorado. Not far from Denver yet you can stay near and skip the drive.
I love this place! Of all the epic locations in Colorado this is #1
Ample terrain.
Good grooming, lift lines were workable
None

My favorite of the summit county mountains, but I am expert level.
Amazing mountain for fast steep runs and back country trees.
Bad for beginners, it is far too steep

Great spot for a day trip but depending on your ski level you may run out of runs after 2 days. good vibes!!
Proximity to Denver, parking, like the outback area for more experienced skiers
Front side of the mountain gets really congested

Something wrong with the pass system. No guarantee your pass won’t get stolen even if you have your pass and they won’t do anything about it if it does. I can look at my lift scans and even when I was on the mountain my pass was being scanned on the wrong side of the mountain. It is a messed up, broken and vulnerable system. The mountain is pretty and I enjoyed boarding but I won’t come back after the issues I have had with my pass.
The mountain, especially the river run side, is nice and convenient.
I bought a 4 pack. I used half of it and left. On my trip back 1.5 months later I find that it had been used. I have the physical pass, I didn’t use it, and I didn’t give to anyone to use. They treated me like a criminal and gave me a “too bad so say”

See cons above. Having lifts down on peak weekend in the middle of the day is not acceptable for what fees they charge. Ridiculous. Also not enough bathrooms. Why walk past 6 buildings with no facilities? Add more options
Great long runs
The Peru lift was closed for “electrical” problems. On a peak Sunday. This was my third trip to Keystone and the second time the lift was down for electrical problems. Not acceptable
