Great woods skiing, friendly people, rarely cold
If you like to ski (or ride) in the trees, there isn't a better place to do it than the Outback at Keystone. An extra bonus is that for some reason the mountain in usually about 10 degrees warmer than its nearest big-time competitor, Breckenridge, and usually less windy as well. Most of the time the lift lines are quite tolerable, although you wouldn'r know it if you judged the crowds from the parking lots and the eateries. On-mountain restaurants have decent but expensive food. The ski school has a great reputation as well. Finally, the terrain park is one of the best in the country, and is located in an area where it doesn't crowd up lifts to the other areas.
