I had the priviledge of snowboarding Keystone on a night skiing day. All I can say is Wow!! this is a great mountian and offers so much its tough to list its benefits in a few paragraphs. First off it has a gondola that goes all the way to the top of the first peak. Whats really cool about this, is if your a beginner they have a bunny hill and 3 person chairlift at the top. where most beginners dont get to experience going to the summit of a mountain (because of their skill level). This gives them the chance to see what the rest of us do.
The parking lot is fairly close to the lifts for a resort of this size. It also has lots of different lodging, bars, and restaurants near the base without the super expensive price tags that you would pay at Aspen or Vail. Don't me wrong its not monarch/salida prices, but its manageable.
love this mountain enjoyed everything about it!
