She calls herself the "flying fossil." 75-year-old Freda Nieters is a former ski champion who broke the Guinness Book of World Records last year by skiing 78,000 vertical feet in one day at Keystone. This week, she skied with former Olympians Steve Mahre and Jason Rossner to raise money for SIDS, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Nieters' grandson died of it in 2005. Full Article
