Rode lake chutes last Sunday and it was sick, hiked in from Hesse TR. But I wouldn't advise going out there w/ out Avy gear.

Fun gully is a joke, lost lake chutes are much better. Just don't ski there first thing, ski it towards the end of the year when snow is firmer. Also ski the chute skiers right, a lot less sketchy

Took this yesterday. Go up corona, go right, and uphill till you get the gate. Hike the trail for a little bit, then cut up wards. I found snow like this all over the place. And if you're in Lost lake, follow others tracks in.

What's this in bounds Fun Gully you mention?

The Lost Lake Chutes are very dangerous. Thin snow and high avalanche hazard. The traverse back in to Eldora is hard to find and you could end up at the Hesse Trail. Inbounds terrain like Fun Gully are much safer, but beacon, shovel, probe still recommended.
