  Eldora - excellent small but full-scale resort

  Pros: Beautiful, Boulder, Snow, friendly people, prices, intruction, equipment

  Cons: some lifts without safety bars

  A beautiful resort just up the mountain from Boulder and Nederland. It is not the biggest, but definitely compares fully with a mid-sized European resort. I had a great lesson with Darko... Full review

  Not the place for good terrain parks

  Pros: Close

  Cons: Poor terrain park

  As of 1/28/09 they only have one small park open and it got poor reviews from my kids. They falsely advertised 4 terrain parks on their website all fall and early winter... Full review

  A Lot of Bang for the Buck

  Pros: Challenging terrain, scenery, staff

  Cons: Lodge crowded and small

  The Salto Glades and West Ridge, on the backside (Corona Bowl) are exhilarating: One of those steep and nearly inaccessible (except for expert skiers), tree scattered runs you have to look up... Full review

  I love Eldora

  Pros: Uncrowded great skiing

  Cons: slow lifts (but that's the only thing I could come up with)

  This eastern skier loves Eldora. Big bowls out west on I70 are nice but who needs the ever present crowd at the lodge. If you're in the Boulder area, this place is... Full review

  I miss the pearl!

  Pros: Great trees and hidden stashes, and so close.

  Cons: Small,slow lifts, spend more time on lifts than riding.

  Eldora, or the pearl as i like to call it, is a gem. So close, you can ride the whole mountain, and be back to work by four. Great trees with hidden... Full review
