Uncrowded great skiing
slow lifts (but that's the only thing I could come up with)

Full review

This eastern skier loves Eldora. Big bowls out west on I70 are nice but who needs the ever present crowd at the lodge. If you're in the Boulder area, this place is great and w/o the travel. Yup, the chairs are a little slow BUT, if you are really skiing, the rest is welcome after several runs to start. I always see empty chairs on the lift. Couldn't tell you how crowded the lodge is, since we only buy our ticket there and go directly to the west side until we go home. The "Night Life" is fine for the person who just wants to kick back and have few comfortable beers at the lodge or in town (Nederland). Since I've been skiing for 55 years, I couldn't tell you about a terrain park.
