I can't believe that Chrispskis was complaining about skiing on a powder day! I guess some people will complain about anything. I think Echo Mountain is a great place to ski and ride. Sure it's not Vail by terrain standings, but they don't charge you $20 to park, and $15 for lunch. It's a back to basics old school ski area, with a ton of creativity and personality. It's got a little something for everyone, and it has quickly become THE spot for Denver riders and skiers. They have awesome glade skiing if you venture out into the woods, and they have park features for all riders. Plus they have some family programs which I don't use, but I think they are really affordable. If you want to crush powder all day then go to Summit County (although have fun sitting in traffic) If you want a fun, affordable place to ski or ride then hit up Echo.
