Overall, Durango was good enjoyable skiing with moderate difficulty terrain. The staff I encounted were not real friendly, but that is minor as long as the skiing is good. For less expensive lodging, stay in town and drive up. There are some interesting older lodges in town that have not been updated since the 1970's, but with a good sense of humor they are fine.

It is a big mountain so it would take more time to fully discover all the terrain and I did not have that much time.
