Air Travel:
United Express has five flights daily to and from Denver International Airport (DIA), while America West offers three daily flights from DIA. These airlines will bring you into Durango-La Plata Airport (DGO), just 10 miles from the resort. Aeromexico, Delta and Continental flies directly into DGO. US Airways Express operates between Phoenix International Airport (PHX) and Durango-La Plata (DGO). Alternate airports are located in Albuquerque, N.M. (ABQ) and Farmington, N.M. (FMN).
By Car:
Durango/Purgatory is located in the Southwest corner of Colorado, near the intersection of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. It's six to seven hours by car from DIA, a 340 mile drive via US-285, and three and a half to four and a half hours and 214 miles from ABQ using NM-44 and US-550.
Ground Transportation:
Shuttles are available from DIA to Durango Mountain Resort and the Purgatory Mountain Hotel.
