Now if I could just get over the hump on the time-change thing . . . what time is it, anyway? : : : : : : : : : : : : Monday’s shot is of the upper extremities of Crested Butte Mountain, frosted with white following last week’s snow. Gunnison Valley residents had their choice of Nordic skiing on the foot or two of snow at the top of Kebler Pass or mountain biking on some great trail conditions at Hartman Rocks this weekend. I went for the two-wheeling option on Sunday and had an excellent ride. : : : : : : : : : : : : Old Man Winter appears to be taking a breather after last week’s efforts at whitening Colorado. Our high temps are forecasted to warm through the mid 40’s this week. Looks like the lows may not be conducive to snow making, but our crews will stand by, ready to take advantage of any cold-temperature opportunities they get. : : : : : : : : : : : : Have a really good start to the week out there!
