Caption: Another Day of Snow and Moisture in Crested Butte : : : : : : : : Wednesday saw big, fat, fluffy flakes of snow falling in Mt. Crested Butte, especially around the noon hour. Today’s shot is of the Elevation Hotel and Spa bronze wildlife enjoying our moist late fall weather. By mid afternoon, the snow turned to rain and our cloud cover began thinning out. Glimpses of the upper mountain through breaks in the clouds showed our ski runs covered with pristine whiteness. I’m curious to see how much snow we pulled in up there. : : : : : : : : The forecast shows today being the front end of a clearing trend that may even carry us through the weekend. We’re looking at the possibility of sun and sixty degrees for Saturday and Sunday, so there may yet be a little indian summer on the way. I hope your Thursday’s gliding right along—have a good one.
