Caption: How Much Did it Snow in Crested Butte? : : : : : : : : Wednesday’s shot of Nina rippin’ it up on the North Face is just a reminder of what winter at Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s all about! Baseball season’s over as far as Colorado is concerned, so we want the POWDER! BRING IT ON! POW-DER, POW-DER! Come on and chant out loud with me, people! : : : : : : : : Okay, so we’re a few months away from that scene. You’ll be sssssooooooo glad you did! : : : : : : : : It was fantastic seeing the mountain and base area frosted in white for the first half of the day Tuesday! While the snow at ten thousand feet and below was pretty well melted off by the end of the day (clouds broke up and temps warmed a bit in the afternoon), the peaks have a decent layer of snow on them.
