My boyfriend and I have been to many different resorts over the last 10 to 12 years. We are definitely coming back. We want to ski as much as possible on vacation and Crested Butte is it! The terraine access is perfect in regards that it keeps the ability of the skier on the terraine where the skier should be. The hard stuff is not "lift chair" friendly and so you need to know how to use a t-bar or want to use a t-bar in order to get to the hard stuff. We like this! The town is real. We are often turned off by the other resorts where the town is a competition of who sees who wearing what. I just hope the town does not get to "boutigue". And who can turn down the beauty of the National Parks out west!
