Crested Butte is AMAZING. I live here and am amazed to have found it!! I took a trip to the front range to Keystone, and Copper Mountain and it was a joke. Those resorts are pretty much suburbs of Denver with traffic, crowds, and gapers everywhere. I barely even snowboarded there because it was such a crowded joke...spent most of the time at the bar or playing the amazing game of "grab ass".....sorry if i got you on the slopes....If you really want to ski or snowboard and not care about what you wear or how cool you look doing it, come to Crested Butte and be the happiest you will ever be.
