My family and I have been to CB twice now; it's where we want to live. The mountain has terrain for every ability, the groomers are wonderful for my middle aged knees. There's a great selection of lodging choices for families, couples, budget friendly, budget blowers. The town is wonderful and charming; lots of restaurants to choose from (The Secret Stash for pizza is a MUST!) and getting back and forth from town to the mountain is so easy with the free shuttle -- you can let the teenagers go out on their own with no worries. It can be cold, so take the warm layers to add on. Really a hidden gem -- because it's not so convenient to Denver, it's MUCH less crowded than the front range resorts -- that greatly improves the skiing experience. It's worth the extra effort to get to CB!
