I've been skiing since I was 3 and I can take the hardest that Vail, Beaver Creek, Breck can dish out without even flinching. However, since I started skiing at CB, I now know fear. It has the most challenging lift served terrain in North America. Steeps, cliffs you name it. However, CB also has lots of good intermediate and green slopes for my daughters. No crowds, no lines, just all out fun. This moutain will make you a better skier. Like any ski resort, check the snowfall totals before you go. The town of Crested Butte is a blast but the ski resort "town" is pretty dead. It is worth the trip.
